Skin / Scar Resurfacing

Laser resurfacing, also known as a "laser peel," uses a carbon dioxide laser to remove areas of damaged or wrinkled skin, layer by layer. The resurfacing is commonly used to minimize the appearance of fine lines, especially around the mouth and the eyes, but it can also be effective in treating facial scars or areas of uneven pigmentation. Laser resurfacing can be performed in specific regions or on the whole face.

Laser resurfacing is still a fairly new procedure, but in some cases, this procedure produces less bleeding, bruising and post-operative discomfort than is usually seen with other resurfacing methods.

Does DMA really work to eliminate wrinkles?

Let me tell you my experience with DMAE on my wrinkles.

So there I was late one afternoon flipping through the channels and I came across a segment on the Dr. Oz show about how you might to be able to even reverse wrinkles!!.. Imagine that, reverse wrinkles!  Dr. Oz had another prominent doctor on his show, Dr. Nicholas Perricone, who said that one of the keys to diminishing wrinkles and perhaps even reverse them, was the consumption of anti-inflammatory foods and one very important thing you can do is use a cream with DMAE in it.  Being endorsed by Dr. Oz and Dr. Nicholas Perricone I decided to give it a try, having been a tanning lover for so many years, the effects of th sun had taken their toll on my skin. The wrinkles on my face were becoming more and more prominent by the day.  However, I decided not to be driven by the consumer force and opted for making my own DMAE cream.

Yes. You can make your own DMAE cream. Please keep in mind that this article doesn't diagnose, treat or cure disease, and doesn't replace your doctor. In fact, you should probably consult your dermatologist as I did, before making and using your DMAE cream.

I basically went to the health food store and bought capsules of DMAE that I then added to my usual day cream and started applying every morning (there is a ration of how much DMAE to how much cream to mix, therefore you might want to consult your dermatologist or educate your self as to the correct ratio).

I’ve heard said that you could see dramatic changes right away and sometimes after 35 days of use, you could start getting some very shocked faces and comments from your friends and family. To my pleasant surprise it was all true!!! After about 10 days of using my cream, I started getting compliments at work and I noticed a significant decrease in my wrinkles and my skin just seem to glow more and seem tighter to me and to everyone else. I can’t say it enough, DMAE worked wonders for my wrinkles.

Personally, I definitely recommend the use of DMAE, either your own batch or buy any product with the DMAE ingredient in it. You will see a significant reduction in facial wrinkles. DMAE is like getting a facelift without the surgery!!

Dr. Nicolas Perricone and Dr. Oz were definitely right about using DMAE, and there are even some claims that it can help prevent skin cancer! You just can’t beat that!
